Repair Missing records office Keys – How jerry can we Repair blank records office Keys?
A slow computer can be a real drag, especially if it was fast when you bought it. You spent all that money for a nice, fast computer, and now it's not even half as fast as it used to be! What happened?! Below are 3 tips to speed up your computer and hopefully regain the performance it used to have.
1.) Get rid of unneeded startup programs. These are programs that are started every time the computer is booted up. They can be a huge resource hog as they take up precious RAM and CPU space. Make sure that you only have programs that you use many times a day in this list. Be careful too, because many programs will add themselves to this list when you install them. After you clean up your startup list, not only will your computer run faster, it will also startup much quicker as well.
2.) Defragment your computer at least once a month. As you use your computer and install programs, save files, etc., the computer saves information to different parts of the hard drive. Over time, this data has a tendency to become “fragmented”, meaning it is scattered sparsely over the drive. Defragmenting the hard drive moves the data around so that it is more compact. This makes it easier for the computer to find the data when it needs it, which in turn speeds up your PC.
Many defragmenters are available for download online, but Windows XP and Vista already have a perfectly good one built in. The process takes a while though, so try to do it when you have a big chunk of free time.
3.) Clean up your computer's registry. Even after you uninstall a program, it leaves information in the Windows registry. This info is now useless and does nothing but take up space and slow your computer down. Manually cleaning the registry is almost impossible and VERY time consuming. Also, if you don't know what you're doing, you can really mess up Windows. Fortunately, there are many programs available to help you clean the registry.
